Effectiveness
As a visionary, Ralph is results-oriented National Director of Strategic Partnerships & Funding & Investor Relations. In this highly visible senior leadership role, he is the driving force behind our national growth strategy. He designs, executes, and manages high-level strategic partnerships, secures transformative impact funding, and lead investor relations. He brings powerful resources together to meet at the intersection of philanthropy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and investing. Ralph possesses a deep understanding of how to align capital with purpose.
1. Strategic Partnerships
& Alliance Building
- Identifies cultivates, and secures strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 corporations, national foundations, government agencies, and major NGOs.
- Develops and manages co-branded initiatives, sponsorship programs, and joint ventures that scale the organization’s reach and impact.
- Serves as the primary ambassador and liaison for national partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term engagement.
- Negotiates complex partnership agreements and MOUs in alignment with organizational goals.
2. Funding & Capital Raising
- Designs and executes a comprehensive, multi-million dollar funding strategy encompassing philanthropic grants, program-related investments (PRIs), and mission-related investments (MRIs).
- Builds and maintains a robust pipeline of high-net-worth individuals, institutional funders, family offices, and ESG- focused venture/private equity funds.
- Collaborates with the executive and program teams to package initiatives into compelling, opportunities.
- Oversees the grant-writing and proposal development process for massive, multi-year national funding opportunities.
3. Investor Relations
& Stakeholder Engagement
- Directs all investor relations activities, serving as the primary point of contact for investors, major donors, and institutional funders.
- Develops and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to keep investors informed of financial performance, operational milestones, and social metrics.
- Produces quarterly and annual Reports, translating complex data into compelling narratives of change.
- Organizes and host investor briefings, site visits, and annual stakeholder summits.
- Manages investor inquiries and ensure strict compliance with all reporting and covenant requirements.
4. Leadership
& Cross-Functional Strategy
- Leads, mentors, and grows high-performing team of partnership and development professionals.
- Works closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Finance teams to align fundraising targets with the national strategic plan.
- Establishes KPI’s for partnerships and funding; track, analyze, and report on progress to the Board.
Qualifications
& Experience
- Ralph holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Non-Profit Management, Communications, and MBA.
- Experience: 30+ years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising, investing, business development, CSR, and investor relations.
- Track Record: Proven history of closed deals and has handled multi-million dollar- partnerships, including new investments, and grants currently pending deployment to worthwhile projects.
- Network: Established social media connections within family offices, investment funds, major philanthropic foundations, and corporate ESG leaders.
- Expertise:
- Exceptional financial acumen and understanding of KPI measurement frameworks, IRIS+, GIIN standards, SDGs.
- Masterful written and verbal communication, with the ability to pitch effectively to high-level executives and investors.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to operationalize big ideas into executable plans.
- Travels internationally and nationally.
